ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) micropipets are used to aspirate and inject the sperm cell directly into the oocyte.
Standard Humagen ICSI micropipets are made in three bevel lengths:
- 50 (8-10µm)
- SI (10-11µm)
- 35 (11-12µm)
Each has a sharp spike. An SI bevel with no spike is available upon request.
The standard opening is 5-6µm I.D. However, we offer a 4µm I.D., 6µm O.D. ICSI micropipet.
ICSI pipets may be ordered straight or with an angle. Angle choices are 15°, 20°, 25°, 30°, 35°, 40° and 45°. Standard ICSI pipets are bent 0.5mm from the tip. However, you may order a customized ICSI angled 1mm, 1.5mm or 2.0mm from the tip.
Larger ICSI micropipets are used for aspiration and injecting immature sperm. These micropipets have a sharp spike and come in two sizes: 7-8µm I.D. and 8-9µm I.D. They are sold straight or with the same angle choices as regular ICSI micropipets. The 8-9µm size is a standard Spermatid micropipet.
